PEANUT-CRUSTED BEEF FRY
(Japanese)

INGREDIENTS (4 servings):
300 g beef round, 100 g diced peanuts, lemon, perilla leaves ("oba" or "aojiso")
(A): 2 tablespoons soy sauce ("shoyu"), 2 tablespoons "sake" (Japanese rice wine), 2 teaspoons ginger juice, salt, pepper Starch-water mixture:4 tablespoons starch, water
HOW TO COOK:
- Cut beef into 1 x 1 x 10 cm strips. Toss with (A).
- Mix starch with water. Dip (1) into mixture and coat with diced peanuts.
- Fry (2) in salad oil over medium heat until peanuts are light brown.
- Arrange perilla leaves on serving plate and place (3) over them. Garnish with wedged or sliced lemon.
