Mame Gohan


Ingredients: (for 4 servings)

360 ml rice, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 200 grams green peas, 1 myoga, amasu: (100ml vinegar, 3 tablespoons sugar).


How to make:

  1. Prepare rice for cooking (washed, drained and right quantity of water added), mix salt in it, set for a half an hour.
  2. Add peas on the top of rice, start cooking.
  3. When rice is cooked, allow it to breathe by mixing entirely.
  4. Boil myoga briefly, dip in amasu, cut into sengiri (thin shreds).
  5. Serve rice on plate, add myoga on top.

note: Quantity of peas should be less than half of rice.
